Oh my windyness

Yeah... it is windy as you know where here in the 'Cuse today.

Of course, when your puter is located in your offce, which used to be a sun porch with no heat or electricity........ yeah. There is some insulation, and I have put up blankets over the plastic on the windows, but this is still like a sieve in here.

I noticed the other day that there is wide open spaces in the eves and that the door has a nice gap all the way around. Oy.. I can't wait until I have my own place, then I can take care of these things properly. Landlord says I can't do anything about it because this is a sun porch and I am using it as an office knowing that..... grrr.... ah well, I have a heating pad where I put my feets and I have been keeping the dryer running today to help (it is in the next room in

look at the plus side...your computer won't overheat (at least until the summertime).

 

LOL... true, I have to give you that one. Still, I'll underheat if it keeps up like this. Think I'm gonna go play some game cube... it's warmer in there.

NEver thought ofthat. Actually, ia m working on a way to pipe the ehat from the dryer through the 'office' without making major changes. *grin* Also took my old laptop (win 98 with a pentium 125MHz chip in it) out to the kitchen with a spare monitor and have that online too.... I am such a freaking geek. Of course, that will only work for IM and a little bit of surfing, but better thatn nothing.


I should be finishing my son's new puter this weekend, then I will use his old one in the kitchen and prolly get ready to retire the laptop. (Needs the spare monitor cause the screen gave up the ghost a while back. Looks funny on a 17" monitor tho )

Again, if anyone knows where I can get a current notebook on the cheap, let me know
