I am smelling the fragrance of spring. Oh yes, those long nights, hours on the puter and the goodnight thread. Yep, it's almost time.

Hope my snail rider is around to race through here with. Always did love a good drag race.

Hey Barry, hope your going to join me for coffee tonight? We are having a bit of a storm here but I don't think the power will go off.

    I'll be there. ;)

About all I smell outside is dead grass.

Actually, that smell sounds quite nice to me. After the long winter and lots of snow ... the smell of rotten organtics would smell very sweet to me.

Well, to an extent anyway. An over-ripe outhouse is full of "rotten organics" (shudder).

    :D

or an over-sweetened flowery scent that smells like a person who used the whole bottle of perfume/cologne.

Never heard of such a thing. C'mon now, don't rain on Shiver's thread, girl!

Happy Spring, Shiver -- good to hear from you.

Was so warm last night that Eric was tlking about putting the air conditioner in! I'm sure it won't be long before we do. Our place has such bad air flow, it's always kinda stuffy.

I've really enjoying being able to take the kids out so they can play though! :)

We don't really have winter down here, so a long fall just kinda morphs into spring. It's been "spring" down here since around the first of March.

Pegg, G.T. - Long time no see. I finally left my cave as spring is here and it's time to wake up.

Spring is such a refreshing time of year for me. Winters just seem so long, dead, cold and white. The smallest smell of grass or pollen just seems to perk this girl up.

Strogg, I know exactly what your talking about. Now I have never been unfortunate enough to be stuck in a flower bed as strong as that, but if I was .... tears would be flowing from my eyes and my nose would be so stuffed, it would take months before I could sniff again.

CaNo, you need a long winter vacation in Northern Canada. I think you would learn to appreciate the slightest hint of spring.

Barry, breakfast is served, coffee is poured, where are you? My stomach thinks my throat was slit and it's up in arms over it. I'll give you a few more minutes and then I'm starting without you. :D

Well the UK does have much different weather than here but I do know that you do and will again have some nice, warm weather.

Yes, after spending a week in a warm climate would require a little adjustment time for you to get use to your own again.

Sizjam....that *IS* summer in the UK. Put on your sweats and curl up in front of a nice warm log fire!

It was so humid here last night I couldn't sleep either Cindy. Almost put the ceiling fans on. Today is thunderstorms......yayyyy!

Ahh, we can fix that easy! Lets see, a few 80mm fans, couple of 120's, stick a heatsink on your forhead and you'll be golden! Don't forget to wiretie everything to the walls, either! :D :D
