Oh this just gets better

So I booked my driving test, full G liscense.
Admittedly I left it a little late given you get 5 years and my liscense expires next week :-D

So on monday I thought I'd start driving how they want you to drive, both hands on wheel, driving the speed limit and applying the parking brake..... then the brake cable snapped.
Being Labour day nothing was open so I got my local garage to fix it yesterday. I picked my car up on the way home from work after the garage had closed and my brakes now pretty much don't work, pedal all the way to the floor.

To top that off it's windy and raining.... and my test is in 1 hour.

This should be fun.

I wasn't nervous at all due to having been driving without a single accident for 17 years in 2 countries on cars and bikes... but someone up there really wants me tested.

Hopefully the brakes don't fail altogether or my examiner might get a shock :-D

Oh well, as my old man always said "There's no such thing as a problem... Only a challenge"

Better not use that vehicle for the test. He/she may fail you, for driving an unsafe car. :-D

Well it's all a moot point now, I pass with flying colours and she even said my acceleration and brake control was near perfect lmao

Little did she know it was near perfect because I was driving so cautiously due to my brakes not working :-D
