   this is a strange question, but i still had some oil on my finger after working on the car and got a couple of stains down by the mouse. anyone have any idea on a safe cleaner/stain remover? thx

   How about slightly dampening a rag with some "Ronsonol Lighter Fluid"? Works for me. Safe for plastics. You can find it at Kroger or CVS.
