ok about CD Drive

aight guys, last post for tonight b/c im goin a lil crazy with em rite now lol, i just found out that i have my old CD drive do my last computer i found somewhere in the basement, i was like wow how did that get there lol, but does anyone kno anything i could do with it? i have no clue what kind it is either but i just dont wanna throw it away so anyone kno?

 

Umm, use it? You could canibalise the loading mechanism and modify the electronics to make a popup ... somthing ... on your case? Like a PSOne LCD screen perhaps?

 

ok forget that, thats waaay too complicated for me lol

 

or maybe you can turn it into a real cup holder by reinforcing the tray with steal or something and install one of those pop-under drink platforms like in a car. it'd be worth it just to see it.
