I'm using arcsoft photoimpression 4 to take my screen shot, but it won't include the widgets in the shot!?!?! Am I missing something or are those widgets just a superficial image on the desktop???

I guess I'm the oddball...no surprise there...LOL My desktop remains simple, no picture, no nuthin Solid color, auto hide (small as I could get it) task bar with 2 additional flyout menus (one for frequently used programs, other dedicated to graphic software & fonts) and no icons unless there are folders I'm sorting then I put stuff on my desktop for easy access. Different strokes for different folks eh? Keep it simple and I can spend that much more time creating.

ik ik i need a real mac lol. im actually thinking of getting a mac mini just to use for media with my projector.

 

Yeah mac mini as a media center sounds pretty awesome. It'd be a great project, setting up all the software required to turn it into a proper Media Center.

 

the size is what i like about it also. would fit nicely into my living room/dining room area to the side or something.

that and i didn't have finder or anything like that on the taskbar and from what i can tell that seems to show up in all mac screenshots.

 

the dock can be turned off with a hack though.
