Treid switching wireless off if you have it enabled? My pro-audio M-Audio spits and stutters when my wireless is enabled.

  3. The major problem is, every time I am online, and i am listening to embedded sounds, etc, if there is any other program open(including media player) the sound is distorted and warbly. It stutters as the other program even changes windows. I often have to have two or three programs for my web design. I have music in all of the pages and it's quite frustrating. I downloaded and paid for RegCure and I have registry smart, which both promise to repair this kind of issue. Still no. why would other programs make your sound stutter?

Ok, stop. What is the system specs, especially the sound card and motherboard. This can not be diagnosed without that information.

  5. System:
OEM Dell Inspiron notebook B120. It has a Samsung drive MPO402H
    ACPI uniprocessor
Sigma tel audio downloaded from Dell website for my product #.
Microsoft UAA bus driver for High definition Audio
The problem occurs whenever something else is running other than music.
    thanks. Need any more info?

When were these installed, and how long after did your problem start?

  7. All of it is OEM. I went to the dell site about a month ago and installed sigmatel C-major audio from the list of drivers for my laptop. I even tried uninstalling it, that didn't work, so I reintalled it last week. The problem has ALWAYS been since about five months ago. I don't know.

How much RAM in your computer?

  9. I have decided that the fan to the modem/cpu is not functioning properly and a chill pad does not fix the issue. The sound only stutters on the internet, not WMP or iTunes. It needs a new fan, but...It's a Dell, and out of warranty. So I bought a nice new one. i got an inspiron 1526 with 360GB HD and 4 GB DDR. I am set now.
