maybe so, but alot of upcoming bands use some covers but mix them up a bit, say classical tune into rock and vice versa.. the punters can recognise a classic tune and can gel with it better than an own written track ( even tho I hate established stars using old material, just to me shows that they have no imagination and are $£$£$ing it in off their name as easy money ), its a known quantity.. until your established mix own tunes with covers.

Big improvement mcadam. Will still need a bit more punch for hard rockin' songs, but keeping him working on it and concious of it. He's got potential. Good to be versatile too, rock hard or mellow as the song demands.
