Old AMD Athlon

Just for grins my buddy and I are trying to overclock his old Compaq. It has an Athlon AMD 1.1GHz processor. Here is the rub. We installed Nero and it does not show us any names or information for the hardware. Obviously we cannot do the overclock if we do not know what we are working with. Does anyone have any ideas as to another good solid benchmark that will show us this information? If it does not show in Nero, it probably won't show up in another one, right?
