Old blonde newbie with puter problems

Hello All, uhhhh "WARNING" now is the time to start running, cause I can come up with some real doozies when it comes to problems, and I'm puter illiterate, BIG TIME.

Well, today's problem is:
UNICODE; v.1.520; Win:5.1.2600.2 (Service Pack 3); IE:8.0.6001.18702;

All of a sudden IE started showing the above error, and saying it has to close, ohhhh there was a list of "base" stuff below that I failed to copy, but can anyone tell me wht this is all about and how to fix it, it is making me crazy, uhhhh crazier.

opppps..sorry that I didn't give you more information. My OS is XP. I also managed to get a screen shot of the message..hope that will help also..

Hi

Does this happen only on one specific webpage or all webpages?

Run Ccleaner to delete the temps and cookies and try the webpage again as a corrupt temp or cookie could cause this.

Also run from Start > Accessories > System Tools the version of IE with no Add-ons and see if this error comes, if not then its one of the many toolbars you have installed, either remove them by Add/remove or update them to lastest versions.
