old ipod

    I want to transfer the music from my old ipod to my music folder in my pc. itunes does not recognize it anymore. I downloaded itunes 8 but couldn`t install it because a newer itune file existed even though I had deleted the new itunes. Yes I tried Revo but nothing was there. How can I get into my ipod to transfer the files. I use windows 7.

    Hi Jemain

    What version iPod do you have?
    Check in Add/Remove for any Apple software and uninstall, then run CCleaner and its cleaner and registry cleaner, run the registry one until nothing is listed, then try installing iTunes again.

    You could try what I posted HERE in that thread near the bottom to allow you to grab all your iPod music, but iTunes is needed to allow access as a driver to recognise an iPod/iPhone is required.
