Old Mplayer'ers?

well one of the first images i saw for an avatar was http://forums.majorgeeks.com/images/avatars/644.gif, so i assume some of you stem from mplayer, before it became gamespy, eh?

where'd it originate from though, i wonder, i got some old MPlayer avatars, most of the common one's at the least. That picture was used for noobies/etc

 

I remember mplay. used it for a hot minute back in the day. mostly this board is a rag tag group that's been through many many websites together, starting with 3dfiles.
