Old Nec Versa 2000d Laptop: Installing A Hard Drive?

    Hi! I have an Old NEC Versa 2000D laptop at my mother's house that didn't come with a hard drive, and yesterday, I finally found a good hard drive but couldn't figure out how to install it. :( I found Nec Versa 2000 [23/65] Hard disk (mans.io), but the site refers to a lever. I can't find the lever. ;-:mad: Also, I looked inside the mentioned compartment, and the connection was wrong. Do I have the wrong directions? Or am I missing something?
