Old school rules!

I got the urge to try Blade of Darkness yesterday and much to my surprise it installed (very slowly) and after some net searching, I was able patch it so that it runs pretty darn well.

Of course the graphics are what one would expect, though in it's day it could be considered cutting edge. That said, the gameplay and story were/are, in my opinion very satisfying.

So, here's to old school.

If you talk about Atari or Intellivision, that is old school. One of my all time favorite is dinner, sequel of berger time. One of the first 3D games ever made.

At most, I can considerate computer games that fitted into few floppy disks as old school games. One of my favorite of all times is Syndicate. The game installation was on 5 x 3¼ floppy disks. Of my original disks, 3 of them my computer won't read, and half the files can't be read on the 2 others. I managed to get a copy from someone, I never have been able to enable the sound, and the game crash in 12 different stages. Ahhh, good old floppys.
