i have an older micro$oft sidewinder gamepad with an older joystick connection.
the problem: newer pcs (including mine) dont have a older joystick input.

is there any way i can build a joystick-to-usb connection just using the cables? i have seen joystick to usb converters at radioshack but i dont want to spend 15$ on somting i could possibly make for free
