OMG, I think my computer is FIXED!

I'm patiently waiting for chaslang to let me know what was discovered in the logs, but the computer's acting so normal, something I haven't seen in it for a long time!

It's almost wierd (that word looks weird, I before E except after C), I'll wait about a week or so to be sure if I'm really okay.

I can get back to writing the short stories again!

I always thought that "Learning Rule" was a terrible idea, "I before E Except after C and a load of other examples where it doesn't work" :-D

Glad Kim that your PC is nearly back to normal, Chas is superb at what he does so do keep on with your malware thread until he deems it finished as in regard to malware or now a software/hardware issue in which he will mention the latter.

Thanks Ned and David! Chas has been such an angel. In fact, all of you have been so kind, and this is the only safe haven on the Internet. My sister (this is her computer I was trying to fix), she was extremely wary about this venture and, having communicated with everyone here, I told her that I was 100% confident that I was helping the situation and not hurting it. I couldn't have imagined being that sure of myself until now.
