OMG - need help asap with fan install

I am replacing my motherboard and all is going well until I get to trying to put the cpu fan back on. I had no problems removing it, but I cannot get the stupid thing back on. No matter how much I turn the screws it will not catch! It says amatech.com on the top of it and I've tried to go to the website but it doesn't work. Nevermind... I am so stupid... It had a back plate that wasn't lined up. :-o LOL It's been an extremely long day for me and my brain is not functioning I guess.
