Hey everyone, I have a problem that I can't seem to figure out...

I have a EPOX 8RDA+ Motherboard and XP 1800 CPU setup put together. The OS and all hardware seems to be fuctioning properly. But the onboard LAN doesn't seem to be working. It's enabled in the BIOS config, there is a connection with the timer going, but it isn't sending or receiving any packets. It's connected straight to the RR Cable Modem. I have the boxes checked that say "obtain an IP and DHCP address automatically".
    Any ideas?

Should I just try to work around it and by an external PCI NIC card?

Oh and I called RR and they said they don't deal with MAC numbers unless customers go out and buy their own Modems.

Nevermind, I just bought an add-on PCI NIC card and Network works fine now. Thanks,
