So here's the story. Vista update found new drivers for my mobo (asus p5b wifi) and after they installed and restarted, wireless was dead, with a message similar to "Name is already in use"I then tried reinstalling from device manager, flash driving a new copy of the drivers to the computer and reinstalling, rolling the system back, reinstalling after rolling it back didn't work, finally put my pride aside and called asus. The "support" guy said the only thing he could recomend is reinstalling the os. BULL!!! My guess is something in the registry is screwy from the new drivers, I just don't know enough about registry to find and solve the problem. Any ideas?

So i figured out what is wrong, after the new program was installed, the old version wasn't. I tried to uninstall it and the uninstaller comes up with the message, this program must be run in windows me/2000/xp only. It won't let me uninstall, because it isn't a vista uninstaller...

Ahhhh... the beauty of Vista compatability ;) Maybe try something like Add Remove Pro or another 3rd party uninstaller.... I dunno confused Did you check the Asus web site for an updated Vista patch or driver?
