Hello, so yeah, I'm having the problem/malware of " pleas wait while the connection is being established" I've tried a few things already but none of them have worked since I cant go into safe mode WITH networking. i can go to safe mode with cmd though.

Anyways, Ive read a few posts with the same problem like mine and went through guidelines and the step by step proces that I cant use since I'm completely locked out. In the posts I've seen it'd all about the frst.txt file and the fix file. Although I cant seem to find how I should get my hands on the frst tool. I've searched the forum for it but haven't found it.

    Sincerely,

    parado

Anyway since my computer BSOD every time I tried to go into computer repair fase I went into command prompt from my "safe mode+ command prompt" and followed the other steps.

I'm getting my recovery CD tomorrow if it's a problem.

Yes, I cannot create a fix for you using this log. I will wait until you obtain the recovery CD and attach a new scan using it.

Okay so I found my recovery cd and I'm encountering a new problem, when I'm suppose to chose the OS I want to repair there are no options, I can go through my files to find them, but I am completely clueless to where they should be located

I found the problem, the CD ( I was given this by a computer repairman after my memory got corrupted once) is ment for 32 bit pc's whilst I have a 64 bit vista, going to get a new cd first thing in the morning.

And they stopped selling my vista CD so I'm going to have to go find one somewhere else, this might take some time, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, anyway I did notice something else, my admin account is locked out but my other account that isnt admin can still be used, I can't upgrade that one to admin though. Is this normal?

It is not a problem, we will be here :)

Yes this is normal. You can only upgrade other accounts through an account with administrative privileges.

Anyway , I looked everywhere in computer shops in my region , non of them sell windows vista anymore so I'm clean installing using windows 7. So all my files will be saved to "windows.old" should I be worried about anything?
