    Hi

We will need a little more info Int,

    a) What types of computers (laptops / desktops)
    b) What operating systems on them (Windows 98 / ME / 2k / XP)
    c) Any of the computers 'Wireless capable?' (built-in wireless / pc card / pci card)
    d) How many 'Lan' ports on the Wireless Access Point (prolly 1-4)
    e) Do you have any other network hardware (router / hub / switch / etc.)

These basics will give us a starting point to get ya up and running :)

As a generic answer, if you have a wireless hub, you need to simply use the upload port (all hubs have an upload port, it will be marked) to plug in your incoming dsl to and then hook one computer to the hub via network cable and the other machine can be wireless.

This is pretty standard for a wireless setup, at least with cable. My DSL knowledge is non existant, sbut this should work for you.

Good starting point MA, but if he has just a wireless access point then he may run into a problem with multiple IP addresses. Do you have a wireless router? If not then you need to go and buy a $40-50 router, and plug your access point into that. THis will privatize you network, give you a basic firewall, and more importantly, your ISP won't be charging you for two IP addresses.

MA, DSL is usually just like a cable modem, unless the connection is using PPoE, then it needs to have a username and password in the router setup.

there's a link to a dlink page that explains PPoE, instructions for other routers may be a little different, but that gives you an idea.
