One late riddle for ya!

OK sorry it's really late I just.....forgot!

here we go -

In home, a haunted apparatus sleeps, that snores when you pick it up.
If the ghost cries, they carry it to their lips and soothe it to sleep with sounds.
And yet, they wake it up deliberately, by tickling with a finger.

What is it?

one thing they have in common is shaking....

Dialling tone is the snoring when you pick it up

If the ghost cries, they carry it to their lips and soothe it to sleep with sounds.
The "ghost crying" is the phone ringing, when you pick it up it stops

And yet, they wake it up deliberately, by tickling with a finger.
Waking it up, from the previous line, is by dialling a number

Therefore, it does make sense, ha!
