Ok heres the deal as completely as I can give it to you.

First off heres the good news: I have internet browsing capability.

Bad news: Thats about it. My on line games are unable to connect. As well being unable to connect to the voice communication program called Teamspeak.

What I have explored and tried over the last 8 hours...:(

Called my ISP to ask if any ports have been blocked in the past 4 days. Their answer was no, they have a completely unfiltered internet access.

Ran Teamspeak in debug to get a client log: Results are as follows
    ---------------------------------------------------------------
    -------------- log started at 26-06-06 16:44 -------------

Attempted running the program with both zone alarm and nortan disabled. No change.

Attempted to run connected via ethernet cable to my wireless router. No change.

Attempted to connect directly to cable modum. No change.

(all of the above were run with and without fire wall and antivirus.)

Checked my windows fire wall setting. It is disabled.

Did port forwarding for Teamspeak. No change.

Reset my router (yeah I pressed the button for 30 seconds then went through the instalation cd again) Repeated all of the above. No change.

    Ran Winsoxfix. No change.

Ran Network Diagnostics. All components appear to be running fine.

Uninstalled reinstalled my wireless network card. No change.

Ok now for the fun part.

Installed teamspeak on a roommates computer that was running zone alarm as well as nortan. The pc is connected via the same wireless network as the 'problem pc' No unique setting in the wireless properties. All configurations appear to be the same as the 'problem pc'. And yep you guessed it, teamspeak works fine on the roomies pc but not this one.

Other ideas include throwing the 'problem pc' out the window. But before i porceed to this final step. I would really like to know if anyone else has any suggestions.

Yeah i have looked at teamspeak support. >.< unfortunatly the time out thing is what happens when i try to play my games at the server selection... >.< so logging in doesn't seem to be the problem with either programs its the communication with the server i am trying to log on >.< this is driving me nuts

Does teamspeak require a working soundcard? Would safe mode with networking be possible (sorry if this is not valid, just a thought...)

    had similar problem.
Tried everything but seemed to be OS problem.
Installed OS again in Repair mode.
Works like a charm. Nothing is lost - programs, files... oh, i did have to reset some personal profiles.

    Good luck.
