Well, let us know how things go. I'm still researching your problem so if Dial A Fix doesn't help, I should have more info for you later if needed.

    Good Luck! ;)

I still haven't seen a logical action that made good sence while trying to open the file. I can't go into the Recycle bin to look over the deleted files... it's a very blank page and the Add and Remove is the same too.

When I click "Open With tug Zip" I get a window that shows like the whole computer of files and "+" signs like that to expand it. It says :

    Tugzip 3.4 - C : \ Documents and Settings\ Compaq owner\ Desktop\ Dial-a-fix-v0.60.0.24.exe

How can I recieve all these "archive questions" when I have hardly had this for an hour ?

OK. Dial-a-fix you should be able to just run. Double click it. You mentioned in a different thread that you couldn't extract zip files, so I recommended TUGzip. If a file has an '.exe' extension, it's a program, and can be run by double-clicking on it. If it won't run, you may have other problems...
TUGzip is an archiving program; also called compression or 'zipping'. When you choose to open something with TugZip, it will open an Explorer type window, it will be full of the system files, directories, etc. Don't be alarmed. What you're seeing is normal when you choose to "open with TugZip".

Hey There Everybody...I have been trying and trying and finally my major Geeks forum has paid off ! I can get into the "Add and Remove Programs" and the "Recycle Bin" and generally I got the "Dial-a-Fix" to open properly. That is just a really an ingenius Program !! I would like to Deeply Thank The God that walked me through this !! I have these facial expressions that come up now too :) :major :wave :cool :) which might change to the full out faces after the re-boot because that's how happy I was... I didn't even reboot... but I am pretty sure that this is it !!! My whole season will be better, wow, i thank you sooo much... and there will be another note from me about the stability after re-boot but I think I'm on my way now... I have to leave the computer totally to finally sleep...

Well hello Again, I'm back. I am sure the problem was a firewall now. When I rebooted...I couldn't any longer get online. My computer said there weren't any profiles on my computer so I tried to create one right away but it wouldn't let me. The area where my "country" goes wouldn't let me write in it, and it had nothing in the drop box, just blank. My computer was fresh and new though and i had 99.9% of everything back... but there was the next thing......so I tried to load my "Motorola SM56 Modem" (yes I have a modem still, ok laugh) and I got a message saying that it was already loaded on my computer so I just ran the driver etc and it said it was working fine so....
... ok a long story short...

I am still relieved that I have the Dial-a-Fix because I will need to do it again ....(I thought I should have a ciggerette or something after that one the first time @{^;^}@, ....even though I don't smoke... ) but I ran this "System Suite 8" and I restored right back to getting online again, and...not having the ability to open the "Add and Remove Programs" and I can't click on my emoticons right now again too...(see my own little picture was up there for...) but I see that this is not a disaster anymore and I think I need to figure out how to get to my firewall either before or after the Dial-a-Fix... I don't know when as well... well I feel like I have an extremely cool new friend and I'm glad to have internet again... soo glad. My "System Suite 8" is updating right now but I am a bit wondering if because of things being now temporarily back to how they "were" that something might not load right..
Well till next time , I'll talk to you soon...
