Online Armor

Online Armor (here at MajorGeeks in the Security section) looks like a good app, so I figured I'd check it out. The problem is, that it will not activate. It says the license type is free, but when I try to activate, it says "invalid license" or something very similar to that. Any ideas?

Hi

Just did a little reading on this and Online Armour does in the version we still have seems to have activation issues, did you install the app and had a live internet connection open or were you offline? also when prompted did you enter a email addy as I gather the licence key is sent via email, if not then you'll have to contact the suport team for a key.

I also think we need to update the vesion we have for download as it could be the faulting one in build 18 where as the latest version is fixed so goto the makers homepage download "authors site" in the download lists and get the latest Free one as its build .23 ( things sure move quick in computing ) will be getting our links updated, so cheers for pointing this out.

Yeah- I had an open active DSL connection, and no, I didn't enter an email address because it didn't say an email address was needed. Maybe I'll uninstall it and try the one available at their web site if it's different than the one on here..... thanx.

I would also run something like CCleaner after uninstalling, to clean up the temps and registry.
