Online Email not working after removing FBI ransomware

I recently had an infection of the FBI Ransomware on my windows XP Pro machine. Since I removed the malware using the antimalware forums recommendations and had it declared clean by majorgeeks help, I am having trouble with the user profile that was infected. When logging onto online email such as earthlink webmail or juno.com or gmail the icons or pictures that are supposed to be over the links for deleting messages or creating new messages etc., are not showing up. Sometimes there is a box with a red x in the corner and sometimes there is nothing there. The links are still there and you can use them if you know where to click for them but you just can't see them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
