Online scans

Hello, I'm trying to clean up my granddaughters computer(Dell Dim.2400, WinXP home SP2,IE 6). I've removed a lot of malware using AVG anti-spyware, Ad-Aware, FixBlaster removal tool, Spywareblaster and AVG antivirus. I'm trying to prepare the computer for a HiJackThis log for posting, but an unable to run an on-line scan. I tried Bitdefender-stalls at 91%, Panda-nada, got a red X in the scan box. Any suggestions as to how to get the online scanners to work? Thanks.

PS: So far I've removed about 200 malware and trojans and the computer still boots slow.

OK,I've gone through the steps as best I could and I think I'm ready to post a log. This log is from my grand daughters computer.

I was unable to to get a log from AVG Antispyware even though I had checked the box to make a report? I'll get the others and post them in a follow up. Sorry.

 

I have merged your threads together so please post in here from now on. Also, if you have ran all of the steps in the READ ME please attach all of the logs so we can help you.

also, ran Counterspy, but didn't attach the summary-way to big.

 

Did you run the online scans? If so attach the Bit Defender and Panda logs.

 

I tried too. BitDefender would not run, and Panda ran-found a small amount of spyware-wanted $12.95 to clean-I opted out-no log. Thanks for your reply.

 

You can get the Panda log, you have to follow the instructions in the READ ME to get and attach the log.
