Oops -- should I run it again?

Had some major pesky malware issues. I went thru all the steps in Read & Run Me First, and so far the problems seem to be resolved.

Aside: I first downloaded SAS from the MajorGeeks site, and when I tried to install it, I received the "not a valid Win32 app" message. I tried the suggested file rename and another file rename with the same result. I then went to the SAS home page, and downloaded the program to my root directory with the default name. It executed properly from there.

Before installing & running the Combofix program, I disabled my Panda Antivirus by right-clicking and clicking "close automatic protection." This disables the virus checking and the firewall. Combofix installed and began running with no problems, and indicated there was rootkit activity. After the second reboot (I think), when Combofix was repairing problems it found, it attempted to make a change in the registry, and Panda popped up and stopped it. (I'd forgotten that Panda turned itself back on after the reboot.) I disabled Panda again, and Combofix completed. But apparently it was unable to make a change to the registry it was trying to do.

I then completed the balance of the steps in your Read & Run and the Cleaning Procedure. As I said, the problems appear to be gone, but I am wondering if I should re-run the ComboFix (after completely turning off the Panda functionality)?

    Logs attached.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

You need to attach the requested log from MGtools.

Are you having any current malware problems?

Okay! Other than the infected atapi.sys that ComboFix removed, your logs are clean.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no protection. They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /uninstall
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /uninstall, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    6. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    7. If you are running Win 7, Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning procedures pointed to by step 6 of the READ ME for your Window version and see the instructions to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    8. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

Two items I missed in your logs that need to be removed are below. They are not cause for alarm as they are just leftovers. But they do need to be removed. Delete the below two files:

    C:\WINDOWS\Igoliwit.dat
    C:\WINDOWS\Qtefijigokimakig.bin
