I was looking through MG's front page listings today at http://www.majorgeeks.com, and I came across YoWindow 2.0.441

As I am vaguely interested in installing a Weather program, again, I investigated further. At the link (http://www.majorgeeks.com/YoWindow_d6868.html), it mentions
No mention that "Open Candy" is optional, as our Editor usually points out, if applicable. ;)

Having never heard of Open Candy before (I assumed it was yet another !@#$$% unwanted Toolbar), I searched Google ( http://www.google.com/alerts?hl=en&source=alertsmail&cd=Rw3pnx5MQO0&cad=CAcQAhgAQMONsuwESAE ) and checked out link to Installers Hall of Shame (Unwanted add-on) via Calendar of Updates at http://malwarebulletin.com/2011/02/...hame-unwanted-add-on-via-calendar-of-updates/

    Scrolling down, I found OpenCandy
The limitations, above, lost me immediately and I did not download and/or install it.

I'd like to know if anyone has heard of "Open Candy" before, and should it be treated as an unwelcome "feature" of any program associated with it.?
