Open Watcom: Files Didn't Associate On Install

Hi! I have, like and use Open Watcom to do much of my Win32 programming, and, when I installed it on a Win7/64 laptop, the file types used by OW have neither the icon nor the file type in Explorer. I think I used the option to associate files to it on install but probably didn't. How do I associate the files after install?

 

Hold shift and right click the file, select Open with.. and browser to the program you want to use with that file type... check Always use this...

I did the association, but OW won't open the project files properly. It's okay, though, as OW's IDE remembers the last few projects opened, and I only have a few Win32 projects. Thanks.

 

Uhh...is there a way to have the OW setup program redo the associations without a complete uninstall and reinstall? I really don't like the extra work to open the IDE and hunt for the project file from there. The last-opened list (vocab. check, please?) helps, but I'd rather just double-click the project file to open it.

 

I found the solution to this problem: after foogoo's suggestion, I had to go into the Registry, search for a particular file class key that included the word "Watcom" and remove the quotes in the command line surrounding %1. The first time I tried this, I missed the former and couldn't find the key, but I got it to work today.
