opening acer decrypted files

    hi

    i'm not sure if anyone will be able to help me on this one

    i had an acer laptop that i had all my family pictures saved on, i backed them up to a flash drive incase the laptop ever went down, which it did i got a new laptop and went to put my pictures on to find they were encrypted by acer to JPGENX format now i cant find a program to open them,

    is there any way or am i stuck with having to go buy another acer?
