    Evening all,

Is it possible to open an email from someone who calls me by name - though i don't know who they are - without possibly opening a 'can of worms'?
I am on Outlook Express; Windows XP.

    Thanks.

your name and e-mail address are not hard to be found. When you subscribe to a club, service etc. on-line, you hand in personal info. Some companies don't respect your privacy and give this info further. So my opinion is to ignore the mails. Does the sender name seem familiar? If you think it' someone you know try contacting him to confirm that they send the mail.
