Opening .wps file

    I received an email contract with a wps file extension and can not open it. I am rumming XP with Office 2003. Please help.

    try change the extertion to .rtf or .doc. .rtf is rich text document. .doc is a WordPerfect 6 document

    This could cause file corruption, also DOC is a Microsord Word document. I believe WPD is Word Perfect documents.
