OpenSuse LiveCD installation deletion help please.

I installed OpenSuse from the live cd. I am pretty sure that I hate it because it is quite simply much too difficult for me. I screwed up the first install and was told to do it again by some jerk who claimed to be a developer. Now my 300g HD only has 98G left for Windows and I can do nothing with the linux stuff so I just want to get it off my pc. The live cd created partions that windows can't see. Please help!

 

Have you tried using Computer Managment, rght clk the unknown partition and delete them?

 

How do I do that Augie?

 

navigate the following Start> Control Panel> Performance and Maintenance> Administrative Tools> Computer Management> Storage> Disk Management(Local) and right-click the unrecognized partitions and delete, you will then have to format them. Maybe there's an easier way, but that's how I do it.

 

K thanks Augie. Now it says Unallocated. I am gonna reboot and see what happens.

 

:cool but you don't have to reboot, just format and it will assign a drive letter itself, though a reboot won't hurt it any. I'd personally keep the new partition incase your XP goes kablooey, at least you won't lose everything, never had any experience with pre-installed XP if that's what you have.

 

yeah just right click on the unallocated space and choose format.
