    Standards?

Neither pass the Acid 2 tests.

    Idiots...

They just thought...hey, the US did it, lets do it now! Maybe we can get a piece of the pie. Seriously.

MS adhered to the guidelines set forth in the antitrust suit here, and added a defaults section to the OSes, that sets the defaults for third party apps.

Maybe what Opera should do is figure out what they are doing wrong, that their browser sucks so bad. Even Mozilla is wailing on them. Are they going to file a complaint on Mozilla next? roflmao

    Reasons not to use Opera:

    1. Its ugly.
    2. The font rendering on websites sucks (by default anyway). First impressions count the most.
    3. Its plugins and extensions are severely limited.
    4. Its not as user friendly as the competition.
    5. Mozilla has better web standards. More sites will work with a Mozilla browser than Opera.

    Reasons to use Opera:

    1. Its fast.

Sorry, I dont see that enough to sell someone on using their product. Even if MS was made to remove IE from the OS...Opera would still suck and Mozilla would gobble up the market share, not them.

Now if only Opera allowed multiples of Speed Dial. For example, a "Folder" for Major Geeks, another "Folder" for Search Engines, etc. It would only be one click more to select your "Folder"

I use most of my 9 Speed Dials for Major Geeks of course. :major
See thumbnail. But I could easily fill up other multiples of 9. Bazza

    Great link!

Yeah I am still confused about the browser thing :confused I never know which one is best so after much stressing out I use 4, well 3 installed and OB1 on my thumb drive.

I remember when we had dial up :( although our broadband has it's moments!

I will admit I actually fell for that "tisp" a few days ago   *major embarrassment* for a whole 10 mins or so I actually believed it!
