Hi guys and gals! I need an opinion on a possible purchase, i'm a huge gamer but i know virtually nothing about pc hardware. A guy down the road from me is selling a gaming pc for 800$, heres the specs:
    Watercooled i7 2600k
MSI GTX 560ti Twin FROZR II OC edition
    G. Skill 8GB memory 1600 MHZ
    XSPC RS 360 watercooling loop
    XFX 750 watt Power Supply
Cooler Master HAF X NVIDIA Edition With green lights!
    MSI P67A-G43
Western Digital caviar Blue 1 Terabyte (1000GB)
    Windows 7 Home Premium

I haven't contacted him yet because I wasn't sure if it's a total ripoff or a really good deal, hopefully someone on here knows something. It is, however, horrificly ugly...lol...my only complaint

Id personally pass, since its old gear. That being said, you can do a lot with this for the price. Also, any peripherals included? I'd upgrade the videocard for sure though. This system looks like it was designed to be overclocked (and probably has), so if you buy it, ask the seller to restore the original clock settings, so you dont unknowingly cook your purchase. Basically, for 800, if this was last fall, I woulda bought it in a heartbeat. So, consider the games you want to play, research their optimal system requirements, and possibly save your money and build your own.
