    Hi,
So I’ve tried to look around and get the answer for this but it's just not happening and it's driving me crazy.

So what I need to do is set up OSPF on the network i was given and set priorities so that 1 router is DR, another BDR and one is to never enter DR and BDR election process.

I set up OSPF, I set the priorities (0,1,200 and 255) and then that's when things start getting annoying.

When I do show ip route I can see all the routes no problem.

When I do show ip ospf neighbour I can see the neighbour with the correct priority, great.

When I do show ip ospf int se0/0/0 it says:

"No designated router on this network
No backup designated router on this network"

Why is it doing this?! :cry

Am i missing something simple to enable the routers to assign DR and BDR?

I would very much appreciate any help on this as like i said it's driving me crazy. I'm doing this on packet tracer so I’ll attach the file if anyone wants to have a look.

    Thank you! :)
