Other computer has AntivirXP08

    I have a virus, how do I get it off my computer?
    In my add/remove program there is a program called AntivirXP08. I have to run my computer in safemode with networking. When I load the computer while not in safemode after a few minutes the screen goes black. My task bar is also locked. When i try to download combofix using a link from another computer it takes me to a pop up or doesn't even load. The link loads fine on the other computer. I posted in yahoo answers since that doesn't get blocked on the infected computer. These are the things I just tried which didn't work:

    Download Trend Micro Housecall - says the page cannot be displayed
    Download Combofix - the page cannot be displayed
    System Restore is infected from farthest restore point.

    I can't dl hijack this.

    Hope you can help.

    You need to download the programs from the READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide on a different computer. Then transfer them via cd or thumb drive to the infected computer. I would suggest that you do the ComboFix first. Just drag and drop it on the desktop in safe mode and see if it will run...if not, rename it and try again.
