Other computer undrer attack.....

    IM FOLLOWING ALL THE READ AND RUN ME STEPS AND IT WONT LET ME GO TO INTERNET SO I NEED TO DL THE PROGRAMS ON MY DESKTOP (THAT WORKS) AND PUT IT ON CD. HOW DO I DO THAT? AND THEN HOW DO I PUT IT ON MY LAPTOP WHILE ITS UNDER ATTACK.AND CAN I PUT THEM ALL ON 1 CD??? SORRY! IM NOT THAT GREAT WITH COMPUTERS. IM LEARNING. PLEASE GET BACK TO ME, IM LOST!!! THANKX! :confused

    Please refrain from using all caps!! You download the tools to an uninfected computer and then transfer them to a cd. Then slide them off the cd onto the desktop of the infected machine. Then install are run them. You can do this in safe mode is you are having issues in normal mode.

    Have virus..did read and run..now im stuck

    ok so i went through all the steps in the read and run thing..i couldnt do half of the things because my computer wont let me due to the virus. sooo ill explain whats going on..
    this is what keeps popping up on my screen..
    windows security alert
    security warning
    antivirus software alert
    windows security center
    ANTISPYWARE SOFT (thats what causing all these issues!!)
    porn sites ( adult.com, viagra.com, porno.org, porno.com)..grrr
    as i was going through the steps..it wont let me uninstall anything, it wont let me get into msconfig. i dont know what else to do. please help me. im fixing on putting all the things i need to run on my computer on a disk and put it on there and see if that will help any, but knowing my luck it wont. am i missing something???? please help me. im lost without my laptop. :(

    Ok, I need more detail. What exactly wouldn't run? I know you couldn't uninstall anything or access MSconfig, but you neglected to mention which of the tools we require you to run failed.

    Do try using safemode to complete as much of the malware removal procedures as you can if normal mode is awkward for you due to active malware.

    ok i went into safe mode and ran super antispyware, combofix, and malwarebytes anti malware, and got the logs..do i show them to you? im not sure where to post them=( im new to this. but it seemed to fix the prblem. it wouldnt let me do rootkit and i couldnt dl mgtools, which im gunna try now, it might work now. i donno do u hae any other advice for me? i dont believe im under attack anymore but how do i know for sure?????:hammer

    You need to stay in one thread for a computer. I merged you back to your other thread. Also refrain from using things like ... or ???? since they will cause your posts to be trapped in the spam filters. One period or question mark is quite sufficient.;)

    You need to attach all of the requested logs if you want help. There are 5 requested logs as listed below:
    • SUPERAntiSpyware
    • Malwarebytes
    • ComboFix
    • RootRepeal
    • MGtools

    ok. sorry for the punctuations and the other thread. i am new to this site so im not really sure how this works. anyways, rootrepeal srill wont work=( but i ran everything else. ill attach logs. im not sure how to get the root repeal to work. it keep giving me error messages. thanx 4 your help:)

    You need to attach the requested log from MGtools. This is C:\MGlogs.zip and nothing else.

    You did not update SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes as requested. You are way out of date with your version of SUPERAntiSpyware.
    • Please uninstall your current version (this is necessary).
    • Then download this SUPERAntiSpyware
    • Install this new version. It may tell you that you need to reboot to complete the installation. You must reboot at this time.
    • After the reboot, run SUPERAntiSpyware and immediately click the Check for Updates button to get more updates for the database.
    • Now run a new full scan of your system. And attach this new log.
    Now run Malwarebytes and click the Update tab. Then click the Check for Updates button so you update to the current version of the program and database. Then run a new scan with it too. Make sure you fix the problems found before saving a log. Attach the new log.

    Okay now update SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes per my instructions and then attach the new logs from new scans.

    Also remove MGtools.exe from the below folder as it does not belong there:
    C:\Users\goldfish\Downloads\MGtools.exe

    You did not do what was requested with SUPERAntiSpyware. You still have the old version of the program. You must do exactly what was requested and uninstall it. Then you need to download and install the version given in the link and update it while installing.

    What problems if any are you currently having?

    You need to uninstall the below as requested in the READ & RUN ME:
    BearShare
    MediaBar
    Viewpoint Media Player

    Did you knowlingly install the below?
    24MusicBar Toolbar
    Care2 Toolbar
    MySurvey Messenger International
