Otherways to remove malware?

Is there no simpler way to remove malware than running all these scans where time after time we need to reboot into safe mode w/wo Internet, turn on/off different features in virus programs etc. etc.?

I am imagining that an easier way would be to have a bootable CD (created before the infection, or created on a different clean computer) with all the programs necessary to run the scans and the removal of malicious software. Or is that not possible?

No it isn;t possible ...as we all run anti-virus software yet many still get infected. SO it often has to be done manually and that requires us to see the logs from the Read and Run First.

You mean it is not possible to have a bootable CD that just doesnt start any of the programs installed on the computer?

I would like a CD that I just insert and boot from it and then it scans the computer and remove any malware (the CD would have to have some drivers for harddrive keyboard screen etc.). As it shouldnt start any programs on the HD, it doesnt matter what kind of infections there are...

I think this should (theoretically) be possible! Maybe we do not have that tool today, but it might be developed, or?
