Yep, going out to the movies the next 2 nights in a row to celebrate (Eric will be watching the kids and putting them to bed those nights), and Wednesday evening we'll have a little party with cake and ice cream (for Drexel and Kolya's sake). A party for each decade! Though I can't decide whether I should start lying about my age this year or next.

 

Why lie at all? Your life is reflected in your face and your heart, not by how many candles are on the cake. Be whatever you are, with pride, and don't worry about the count.

 

Probably be next year some time. Next vacation is Christmas in California, and I'm NOT planning on another January in Chicago. LOL. The last one darn near kilt me.

 

Yeah, I've joked about lying about my age, but I'm not sure whether I could actually do it. I'm actually kinda proud of making it this far, you know? I'm 30 and I'm doing what I've wanted to do since I was 15.

Glad to hear that you'll be with family this Christmas. California sounds like much nicer Christmas weather than Chicago. Well, I know that Kolya is anxiously awaiting your next visit. She still recognizes you from your picture, and refers to you as "my friend, Gary"
