Out look Express task bar

Windows xp, I'm using outlook express 6 for e-mails etc. all at once the task bar disapeard, can any one tell me how to reinstall it.

While I'm here why is it that when I forward a e-mail with pics all the reciever gets is the letter and only blank boxes where the picture should be.
Simple for some some of you , but it drives me bonkers.

If you are referring to the taskbar at the top(?) you may have inadvertently disabled it. Try clicking on View > Layout and under basic is there a check mark in the toolbar box? If not check it, then apply. It should bring it back.

For the images you need to be sending in html format AND including images. Any one of the below settings can interfere with forwarding images in an email if they are not set in the way I have outlined.

Go to Tools > Options under the send tab the following should be checked: Include message in reply, reply to messages using the format in which they were sent and under mail sending format HTML should be ticked.

Now under the security tab (assuming you are using up to date anti virus and a firewall) under virus protection:

- Internet zone (less secure but more functional) should be checked.
- A check should be in the box "Warn me when other applications try to send mail as me."
- Uncheck do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus"

And finally under Download Images: block images and other external content in HTML e-mail should be unchecked."

Click apply and give it a try.
