Outlook 2007 Continue stall on checking mail

I have outlook 2007 installed. My PST is less than 75 megs. I have 7 email accounts setup. Outlook will constantly stall during the checking and dowqnloading of messages. It is generally the last email for which ever account it is on. It not one specific account it is which ever account it chooses. This does not lock up outlook. I can still look at current emails already there. I can not close out outlook by normal means. I have to close it through task manager. I have had this issue on windows XP, NT 2000, Vista, and 7 and also on 4 different computers. I have all installed updates and have even tried it without any updates. Any help is appriciated
