I have recently had a BSOD cannot restore any of my old programs, I used my 2007 Office disc and it will not load. Going through a complete system restore and grabbing all programs and what not. My question is since I cannot access OUTLOOK is there a file on my computer that might have stored a backup of my contacts list?

Most Outlook information are kept in one or more Personal Folders (.PST) files. Do a search of all your partitions for *.PST, check the dates, and back up all PST files that have a recent update date.

So is your Windows still installed and working, or have you reinstalled Windows?

If not, is your Office 2007 still installed and working? Have you tried a Repair install?

Even if you completely reinstalled Office (but not Windows), chances are that all your data are still there, and do not need to be restored.
