Outlook 2007 missing infobar

hello, I am using Windows 7 and Outlook 2007. Previously when I have opened an e-mail the infobar in Outlook has given me the option to whether or not download images. The infobar has disappeared and I have to click on a link in the e-mail to view the page online. :cry I havent made any changes to settings although Outlook has crashed a couple of times and when it has re-opened the viewing panes have set to a different view. What has happened and can I get the infobar back??
