Outlook 2016

I was infected with a worm (I really think it was a snake) and wound up taking my PC to a shop. The shop took out the problem, but along with it some programs and my email, Outlook 2016. They replaced Outlook 2016 with EM Client which I don't want.
I was going to just download Outlook 2016, but MS wants a fee, other sites want me to download Office which seems to be a suite of programs. No problem there, but MS wants a fee for those, and the sites that offer Outlook 2016 obviously want to pass that fee onto me,
Outlook 2016 was originally loaded onto my computer by an independent computer tech when I had this PC built and switched from XP to Win 7,. He has since retired, sold the shop to a cell phone repair shop, and is gone.
How do I get my original Outlook 2016 reloaded, preferably without having to repay a fee?
