Outlook, calendar: can't get month view back

After a a search/filter in calendar, it nows defaults to a list view rather than the much preferred month view.
I can temporary correct by checking a new archived calender with 4 bolded items that i cant find, and don't want/need (created as a result of the search/filter)!!

Its a weird known issue, and I have seen a fix but doesn't correct my version, and here, but i don't see the menu options provided?!

How do I correct?

Do you not even get the Day/Week/Month buttons across the top?

 

No the Day/Week/Month buttons are not present when it shows the list!

 

I suggest running the Office repair function. Right click the Office entry in Control Panel > Programs and Features and click Change. You may be asked to insert your Office installation disk.

 

Thanks, but I don't think it needs a repair, its a known view issue that arises after a filter/search is conducted, i just can't find the solution to rectify!

 

You need to run the repair function first, then we can go from there.
