Outlook Express address book.

PC went down and had to reinstall the OS. Have things backup on an ext HD.
Can someone tell me where the address book is stored so that I can do a restore.

Not very familiar with Outlook Express, but this might help you. Search the external drive for files that have a .wab file extension.

Here is were your address book is located.
"C:\Documents and Settings\"YOUR USER NAME"\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book\"YOUR EMAIL PROFILE NAME".wab"

Did you save your profile files from C:?

 

I reinstalled the files but when I open outlook exp the address book is empty.

 

Did you reinstall via OE File Import? If you are importing a saved and intact Address Book (wab) file, you shouldn't have any problems.

 

I got it... Once I restored the files I had to inport them..
