Outlook Express Attachment software

Now for the question I came here to ask before I discovered that I couldn't log on.

My sister has Outlook Express on her Windows 2000 program for her e-mail delivery. Because her current Server has a problem with delivering unsolicited e-mails with attachments she has her software set to block all attachments and not deliver them. The problem is that sometimes her friends and family send attachments without warning her, and she can't get them before they are deleted.

She needs a program that will block all e-mails with attachments that are unsolicited, but allow delivery of those with established relationships(listed in her address book).

Does anyone know if there are any programs, freeware, shareware, or otherwise that can create those kinds of settings in Outlook Express?

For clarification...are you looking to block ALL email from individuals not in her address book or just emails with attachments from people not in her address book?

 

Without a doubt, she is most concerned with the e-mail with attachments, but with as much junk mail as she is getting, she would probably be ecstatic if she could block any and all unsolicited mail. So, what do you have for me?

I use Palmail,a nifty little software to check and delete any emails at the servers end.

Set up your email accounts to check within Palmail.Right click any emails to mark for deletion,click the yellow telephone and the crap is deleted while the emails you want remain.

It may take a bit when deleting a large number of emails so just wait.

Open OE to retrieve the good emails.

SPAMFighter is quite popular and user friendly. It has an extensive database of known spam email addys so most are already blocked, you can add more and block them.
