Outlook Express forcing login for Incoming and Outgoing Mail

A friend has Outlook Express. She uses the pay service at Yahoo so we imported her Yahoo into her OE client. No problem with that.
However, it requires her to log-in and password for every email she sends, as well as receives.
It's a nightmare.
We've used every variation of settings we can think of in the account settings but it wont change.
She does not want to ever have to log in and password.
Please help.

she also has another email that comes in through OE (her roadrunner account) but rarely uses that. I dont know if that may have something to do with it or not. Her Yahoo account IS set up as Default.

just so I understand correcly, you are able to login to yahoo mail services via OE? is this correct?

 

Yes, she pays the $20 of whatever it is to be able to import her Yahoo mail into Outlook/Outlook Express.

 

next time the prompt pops up, make sure she fills in her password and checks the box that says "save password".

 

Just a note you can do that for free.. and maybe also bypass the problem.. if you configure it correctly.. it is called yahoopops! I use it and it is seemless with any email client.

We always check the "remember my login" box, but it keeps popping up.

But I've never heard of yahoopops. I'll check that out today. Thanx !!!!
